D.S. Senanayake (ඩී.එස්. සේනානායක මහතා)
Don Stephen Senanayake served as the first Prime Minister of Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) from 1947 until his tragic death in 1952. He is often recognized as the "Father of the Nation" for his role in leading the country to independence from British rule without bloodshed.
